Meet Maty, Winner of the 2011 Diamond Collar Hero Award. A Dog Pet Care Exclusive! At three weeks of age, Maty was abandoned along with the rest of her litter mates at a motel in Oregon. The Humane Society of Central Oregon rescued the litter providing the young dogs with excellent pet care. Then Maty developed a staph infection in her left back leg. Pet Sitting is a wonderful and rewarding profession for me. As pet sitters, one of the hardest things we have to go through is the loss of one of the pets we care for, they are our friends. I was sent up here (Santa Cruz) from Manteca in the hope that someone here would adopt me.
